Voidbreaker — Nullscape Enemy Guide
The Voidbreaker is a ranged enemy in Nullscape that fires tracking void projectiles. Learn how to use cover, close distance, and defeat it safely.
Voidbreaker

The Voidbreaker is a deadly ranged enemy in Nullscape that attacks from a distance with void-charged projectiles. Its ability to deal consistent damage from across the room makes it a priority threat in any encounter, especially when multiple Voidbreakers are present or when they're positioned on elevated terrain.
Behavior Pattern
The Voidbreaker is a humanoid enemy wrapped in shifting void energy. It maintains distance from the player, actively retreating if the player gets too close. Every 2–3 seconds, it fires a void projectile that travels in a slight arc and has mild tracking — meaning it can curve slightly to adjust for player movement. The projectiles deal moderate damage and leave a brief void residue on impact that slows movement for 1 second.
Voidbreakers are intelligent about positioning. They prefer high ground, elevated platforms, and locations with clear line of sight. If you break line of sight, they will reposition to re-establish it rather than firing blindly. At close range, they perform a weak melee push to create space, then resume firing.
Spawn Conditions
Voidbreakers appear from Tier 2 onward and are common in Void-touched biomes. They frequently spawn in groups of 2–3 and are often positioned on elevated platforms. In Doom in Bloom, Bloom variants of Voidbreakers fire faster and their projectiles leave slowing flowers on impact. Extreme mode Voidbreakers fire every 1.5 seconds.
Counters
- Use cover aggressively. Solid terrain blocks all Voidbreaker projectiles — learn room layouts and use walls as shields.
- Close the distance fast. Voidbreakers are weak at melee range and struggle to create space.
- Movement abilities counter projectile tracking. High-speed dashes and Double Jump make tracking shots miss.
- Prioritize Voidbreakers in crowd fights. Their ranged pressure makes dealing with other enemies much harder.
Tips
A single Voidbreaker is manageable, but two or more can lock down an arena with overlapping projectile coverage. In these situations, never run in a straight line — constant lateral and vertical movement makes their tracking shots unreliable. The Ninja Belt is one of the best counters, as its speed boost lets you close gaps before the Voidbreaker can fire more than once or twice. In co-op, coordinate with a teammate to flank from different angles so the Voidbreaker can't retreat from both of you simultaneously.
