Blossom

Blossom is a C-tier regeneration upgrade in Nullscape that heals a small amount over time. Discover how passive healing sustains long runs, its cost, cooldown, and best defensive synergies.

Blossom

Blossom is a regeneration upgrade that heals your character a small amount of health over time. The healing is passive and continuous, ticking at regular intervals to slowly restore your HP without any input required. Over the course of a long run, Blossom can restore a significant total amount of health, making it a valuable sustain tool.

How It Works

After purchasing Blossom, your character begins regenerating health at a fixed rate. The heal ticks occur every few seconds and restore a small fraction of your maximum HP per tick. The regeneration is always active — there is no activation condition, toggle, or resource cost. As long as you have Blossom equipped, you are slowly healing.

Blossom does not heal you when you are at full HP, and the regeneration does not speed up or slow down based on your current health level. It simply ticks at a consistent rate regardless of the situation. The healing is paused during certain boss mechanics or special room effects, but in standard gameplay it is reliable and steady.

The total health restored by Blossom over a full run is substantial, often equivalent to several extra hits worth of HP. This makes it particularly valuable in longer runs where attrition is the primary threat and individual hits are less dangerous than the cumulative damage of dozens of minor encounters.

Cost and Availability

Blossom is priced in the low-to-moderate Sheckles range and appears with average frequency in Mart rotations. It is a popular pickup for players who want sustainability without investing in expensive defensive upgrades like Helmet.

Tier Ranking: C

Blossom earns a C-tier ranking because the healing rate is slow and may not keep pace with incoming damage during intense combat. If you are taking frequent hits, Blossom's regeneration is overwhelmed and provides minimal practical benefit. However, during exploration phases and between combat encounters, Blossom tops you up and keeps you healthy for the next fight. It is a sustain tool, not a survival tool, and its value depends heavily on your playstyle.

Best Synergies

  • Helmet: Reduced damage taken means Blossom's healing is more likely to outpace incoming damage, creating a sustainable loop where you take less damage than you heal.
  • Shield: Shield blocks big hits entirely, and Blossom heals the small chip damage that gets through. Together they provide excellent sustained defense.
  • Panic Necklace: Escape danger with the speed burst, then Blossom heals you back above the critical threshold before Panic Necklace can trigger again.
  • Grace Wings: Stay airborne and out of enemy reach while Blossom heals you, using gliding as an evasion strategy during regeneration.

Tips

Blossom shines in plays where you prioritize avoidance over endurance. If you can dodge most attacks and only take occasional chip damage, Blossom will keep you at high health throughout the run. Pair it with evasion-focused upgrades like Adrenaline and Grace Wings for maximum effectiveness.
